Recently, the largest chloro-sulfonated polyethylene plant in jilin petrochemical industry has been modified to produce qualified products. According to the inspection of the relevant departments, the products of solvent residue, volatilization, tensile strength and other indicators have reached the international standard of similar products, which has achieved both yield and benefit.
The renovation began on July 27, mainly focusing on the improvement of solvent, post-processing system, extrusion system and exhaust recovery. The recovery of exhaust gas has improved the operating environment and reduced the consumption of raw materials. The single screw extruder used in the past was changed to double screw extrusion technology, which effectively reduced the solvent residual in the product. The adoption of new solvent for industrial production, completely rid of the dependence on the tetrachloride solvent.
After the technical reform, the residue of the products produced by the factory was reduced from 0.5% to 0.1%, and the appearance and intrinsic performance of the products were significantly improved.
According to the introduction, the chloro-sulfonated polyethylene plant of jilin petrochemical company was established in 1968. It is the only enterprise in China that has approved the production of chlorosulphonated polyethylene by using the carbon tetrachloride solvent. The current production capacity of the device is 3000 tons/year. Under the limitation of the Montreal protocol convention, the system of quota license is implemented, and the production capacity of the device is seriously restricted by the carbon tetrachloride solvent used in the production process. In recent years, under the supervision and guidance of the ministry of environmental protection, the plant has actively carried out the mixed solvents with jilin petrochemical research institute, and has been able to get rid of the dependence on the carbon tetrachloride solvent.
