(reporter) : when did you start to join the plastic industry? Can you give a brief introduction?
(Mr. Liao) : every time we talk about the fate of plastic, we feel special. I graduated from college in 1964, and I was assigned to work in the plastic bureau of the second light industry department after graduation. Successively served as director of the bureau of the ministry of light industry plastic technology, industry of plastic leather office director, deputy director of the office of the state QingGongJu plastic, vice President of China plastics processing industry association and secretary-general, until 1998, the China plastics processing industry association director and secretary-general, the honorary President of the China plastics processing industry association.
During this period, in order to strengthen exchanges and cooperation at home and abroad, we have repeatedly made plastic delegations (groups) to study abroad, attend international conferences or international fairs. Every year, I also have in-depth research on the development of domestic enterprises in the industry, organize experts from home and abroad to study, and actively explore the ideas of plastic processing enterprises and industry development. Planning, editing the proceedings of the western development of plastic BBS, personally wrote the plastic BBS "Asian countries report towards China plastics industry in the 21st century, the pen set plastic industry" 15 ", "11th five-year" development planning and other important documents drafted materials.
So you can say that since 1965, when it came to plastic, there has been no separation. I am a witness to the development of the plastic industry in China. I have made my own efforts and contributions to the development of plastic industry in China.
(reporter) : what do you think of the development of plastic industry in China? What about the plastic industry in the haxi region?
(liao director) : plastic industry is one of pillar industries, light industry growth rate has remained at more than 10% in recent years, while maintaining the rapid development speed, economic benefit is also have a new improve. Plastic industry mainly in plastics processing as the core, including plastic resins, additives and additives, plastic processing machinery and mould, plastic processing machinery in our country in the world, plastic resins and plastic products processing are the second largest in the world. Visible plastics industry has gradually become the important pillar industry in the development of national economy.
With the development of society, the application of plastics has become more and more extensive. In recent years, the development trend of "using plastic substitute steel" has become obvious, and the development potential of plastics industry is great. Since 2011, China began to enter a new cycle, therefore, the future of our country economic growth is slowing, economic fluctuations will be more flat, for the plastic products industry development, provides a good macro economic environment. The development of China's plastics industry is expected to continue in the coming years.
In haixi to fujian, guangdong as the main body, the north and the south and the pearl river delta, Yangtze river delta economic zone two cohesion, east and Taiwan island, west to jiangxi gannan, can drive the national economy, is a unique advantage. Such as fujian, in recent years, the plastic processing industry has been booming, according to relevant data show that fujian province 1033 plastic products processing "above designated size enterprises, employees about 140000 people, about 1.66 million tons of plastic products production, realize the industrial output value of 77.1 billion yuan.
Now, the country's largest plastic packaging materials, plastic pipe production base and plastic shoe export base are also built in fujian. According to incomplete statistics, in shantou (guangdong) region, more than 20,000 manufacturers of plastic products are produced, with annual consumption of about 5 million tons of plastic raw materials, accounting for about 1/10 of the national market, and the market size is more than 100 billion yuan. In Taiwan, Taiwan's plastic consumption exceeded 6 million metric tons in 2012, according to IEK, a Taiwan research institute.
