At present, the research and production of plastic alloys in China are still in sporadic and scattered states, which have not yet formed scale, and the overall level of the industry is low, which is far from the advanced level of foreign countries. In the domestic plastic alloy production variety structure, the production of high value-added special engineering plastic alloy is almost blank, which is basically the production of universal plastic alloy and modified products. In 2004, there were more than 300 plastic alloy production enterprises in China, and the production capacity of plastic alloy (including modified granule) was estimated to be 700,000 ~ 800,000 tons/year, and the yield was around 600,000 tons/year. But the larger companies account for only 15 per cent, while the 15 per cent account for about 70 per cent of the country's total plastic alloy production. Most of the enterprises are manufacturing plastic alloy processing enterprises through plastic mixing. The development and processing technology of plastic alloy in China need to be improved.
