Kettlitz - Chemie introduced a new efficient chemical plasticizer for natural rubber and isoprene rubber. The material, called Mediaplast 60, is based on the familiar diphenylformamide phenyl disulphide (DBD), but contains the newly developed activator/catalyst system. The system makes Mediaplast60 more efficient than the current market. Even if you add a few Mediaplast 60 (from 0. 1 to start adding, the best amount is 0. 3 to 0. 5) can also obtain excellent plastic solutions for pure polymer. Moreover, if the carbon black is added in the plasticizing process, there is no loss of activity through the absorption of the catalyst system on the surface of carbon black.
